Meet Our Pastors
Matt Waitley
I thank God that I get the privilege of serving you as lead Pastor here in Ogallala. My wife Sandy is a second-grade teacher in Grant, and we have two children, Carlie and Caden. Carlie is 24 and lives in Cheyenne, WY, and Caden who is 19 serves in the Army National Guard and lives in Lincoln, NE. Besides hanging with my awesome family, I love to team rope and play basketball. We also have some miniature donkeys that love to entertain us. One of my favorite things about God is that He is still speaking today and as His children, we can hear His voice. I love to help people learn to listen and hear God’s voice. God has truly blessed me, and I love serving this body of Christ.

What a blessing and privilege it is to be able to serve as the Associate Pastor here in Ogallala. Deb, my wife, is a surgical nurse now and has been nursing for more than 30 years. We have two adult children both of which are married. Bryan our oldest is a Colorado State Trooper. He and his wife Laura have three children. Our youngest son Brandon is a Cardiac ICU nurse in Oregon. Brandon and his wife Natasha have two children. Deb and I love anything to do with our children and grandchildren. We love the outdoors and anything to do with hiking, camping, kayaking, Jeeps, and motorcycles. We have been in a variety of ministries through the years from Youth, Church Planting, Lead Pastor, Interim Pastor, and now Associate Pastor. Learning to follow God in our lives and helping others see Jesus is ultimately what matters.
